Went to Jordan Gross's kickball tournament

I miss that guy sometimes.

He was a good team player.

Makes me wonder, would Rivera want him back here?

Wouldn't be surprised if Rivera did want him back as depth in time (but not a starter right now TBH), or if Harris ended up getting a shot at coaching here when all was said and done.

The Bears drafted yet another safety this year (every year since Harris has been drafted they've drafted one, lol) so...

I miss Harris a lot too. He probably doesn't fit with the youth movement, but he'll always be a Panther in my eyes.

One other thing...you have to give big props to Jimmy Clausen for how he has handled the arrival of Cam. He had every excuse to go into a shell for awhile. I am sure his teammates have noticed as well. Way to go Jimmy!

Jimmy has been a real stand up guy through this. He most definitely should be commended. I have much more respect for JC now.

You can tell he never wanted to leave

Don't know. After leaving Harris has routinely trashed the Panthers ownership. No chance he'll be back.

Unfortunate too. Harris was one of my favorite Panthers.

I dunno, his "trashing" hasn't been all that harsh and he's often said it was just business and he understood. He's said things like "thats what happens when you get rid of all your vets" etc but it didn't seem a ton like personal anger

I believe AE is putting on some muscle. Just saw on Fox Got game a segment saying that Gross has a group of 10 to 12 players working out together 4 to 5 days a week. One of those players is Edwards. Showed several shots of him working out. He needs it and it's good to see he's putting in the effort and the way the teammates are treating him. Hopefully this will turn out to be a good thing.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
