So I know that Hurney is in charge of all football operations but what exactly is Danny Morrisions job. Does he just handle the business side of the operation, or is he involved with football at all? I remember when I took my dad to training camp last year me and my Dad met him he only was interested in hearing about how long we were Panther fans and stuff and we didn't really get a chance to ask him any questions. I know this is probably a dumb question but I've been think about it for a while.

Hurney is responsible for players, coaches, and contracts and etc. Morrison is responsible for stadium and different departments (accounting, safety, and etc)

Hurney = puts a winning team together

Morrison = makes sure business runs smooth.

That's not exactly the understanding I had. I looked on panthers.com but nothing is really laid out as a organizational flow chart or anything but as President of the team Morrison is actually Hurney's boss. The way the web site looks, only Richardson is above Morrison. So while he may leave the majority of the football operations up to Hurney I'm sure he also has his say on major issues like the #1 overall pick and choosing the new head coach.

Morrison's background is as a college athletic director. He's more administration, a combination of business and operations, then just business.

Morrison will not mess with Hurney's reponsibilities.

Morrison is in charge of departments... AP, AR, Safety, Hurney, and etc... Morrison's job is to make sure operations of all departments runs smoothly. He will not play GM, he can simply fire Hurney and hire someone else to do his job. Same goes for AR director.

    • Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.
    • Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.
    • I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
