I owe the huddle an apology. Sorry to everyone who I said rude things to, and gave neg swag to. You guys were right. Even though I did not support the Newton pick, hes a Panther now, and I hope he does become the Nightmare he wants to be.. for opposing teams. Not for Hurney and Rivera. Go Newton, GO PANTHERS.

You can disagree with decision...it just depends on how you go about expressing it.

I am on the fence about it, but as you said, he is a Panther and will support the team and the player.

But that first frickin interception and...Mistery.gif

I'm not too worried about INTs, I'm sure he'll have plenty of opportunity to get those. I'm more concerned about the first time he takes off, then coughs it up when he gets killed by a LB in open space. But hey, it's part of the learning process. I trust our staff that they can turn him into a great NFL QB.

I just got too wrapped up in all the pre-draft stuff, coupled with being crappy and not wanting but knowing if Clausen was there at 48 we'd take him, thinking Luck was coming out.. Missing on harbaugh (or not even interviewing him), I had had enough. Sorry guys. :) Im back on board.

You're not the only one that doesn't agree with the pick. I'm reluctant as well. This pick will either put us back in the hunt or break us for the next 5 years. I support the team. I don't like the pick but I will be hoping newton does well for the teams sake. If he gets us a SB. Then awesome. I am sincerely praying he doesn't turn into a bust. I'm also praying Andrew Luck doesn't become the next Brady or manning. LOL!

You're not the only one who's had to come to terms with being wrong on this one. I founded that club, welcome!

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
