HEY COOL, is this another thread where we'll analyze every word that comes out of his mouth with a fine tooth comb?

Could Be!!!!

Here is an idea.... If you think this conversation is going to go the same as all the others... DON'T REPLY... If you don't like talking about stuff we have discussed already.. Go to the upper right hand part of your screen.. You will see a little "X". If you click on it... All your concerns about what is being RETREAD will go away... PROMISE

Brief recap:

  • Thrilled to be the 1st pick and go through the whole experience in New York
  • Stuff about Favre as a mentor is overblown. He can call him whenever he wants but there has been little contact
  • Working with both Dorsey and Weinke to learn the offense
  • Chud will install some plays similar to what Auburn ran
  • The key to being an effective offense is to take advantage of matchups (mismatches)

He also spoke about the savvy of Brees in the pocket and how much he admires that. He knows that there are guys in the league like Freeney and Peppers that get paid to make his life hell.

Very vanilla stuff, but still good to see the exposure.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
