If the season is cut, at what point would it lose validity?

Yeah, you mind as well wait until next season if you're talking about under 10 games..it would be cool however, if you played for home field advantage and seeding, but everybody gets in to the playoffs. You would then have 5 playoff games, including the Super Bowl. That could work...

The season is invalid to me if the Panthers lose. If the season were shortened to 2 games and the Panthers won the Super Bowl, it's legit baby. Flip that and let the Taints or Falcons win it, I would consider it utter fail and totally invalid.

Yeah, I was about to say, if the Ain'ts somehow cheated their way to another Super Bowl, I would NEVER recognize it..

Assholes just need to let the season run into March. They did this to the fans and now want to give even less after the pooty offseason? Arrogant much?

Yeah, I was wondering the logistical reasons as to why they couldn't just run the entire season, regardless of when it starts...I'm guess they don't want to play the Super Bowl in May..

seriously who gives a poo about validity, do the redskins' 2 SB trophies they won during slashed seasons look less shiny than the one they won during a season that went ahead as scheduled?

a lombardi is a lombardi, if you win it nobody can take it away from you
