Hypothetical hiding scenario

I work in a pharmacy, and have actually thought about this before. There are a lot of weirdos and druggies that get pissed when you tell them they can't have their fix.

Anyways, I always keep my cellphone with me, even though it is against company policy. I have to hope I am not tending to a customer if anything major happens and I can duck behind on of the bays we store drugs on. If I can make that first slip out of sight I am home free to the back door which is locked from the outside and behind another door under an alarm. From there I can dodge over boxes to the sink, under which a large steel monkey wrench is kept. That would be my primary weapon until police arrive. The sink where the monkey wrench is hidden under is right beside a wooden staircase to the loft where medical records are kept. Since it is the only way up, I could use the loft as a strategic place of hiding/fighting/surviving until the police arrive, which of course I have already called on my cellphone after I slipped out the back door.

The call will go out, intel will be shared, and its time to mobilize. I have my BoB along with a larger weapon and ammo in my vehicle. My pocket rocket is going to have to get me to it. Once there, I set sail under a black flag.

When the SHTF, I plan on assessing the situation. If contact with the problem is unavoidable, I seek out a weakness or strategy for beating it. If I can avoid contact, I slither throughout the building until I reach a place to call the cops. If I can get behind one of the password protected doors, I can call the police and make it out the back, if I can get to the stock room.

    • "I'm not stunned," Hansbrough said. "We talked about it at halftime, you asked me 'you have to be pretty happy.' And I said, 'No I've seen this story before.' I've seen this happen. They just had some lapses in games where they just go still offensively, defensively. Their competitiveness just drops a little bit. They never step on anybody's throat. When they have a team with a little bit of a lead, they never step on the throat. It's been something all year." The only disagreement I'd have with Hansbrough's assessment is that it's not limited to just this year. It's been Hubert's entire tenure. Hallmarks of Hubert's teams are: streaky shooting, streaky focus, running your starters into the dirt because you won't sub, and absolutely embarrassingly bad plays put of timeouts. It all points straight to the coach. When the roster keeps changing but the core fundamental issues keep recurring, it's not the players.
    • Leafs are broken. Out of the playoffs and Matthews done for the year.  It's either a very dangerous game against a team who doesn't give a fug and will leave it all on the ice, or a team who's thrown in the towel with an effort to match. And, yes, I'm sitting in the Miami Airport waiting on my next flight. Will be back in Lenovo both 28 & 29 for the b2b.
    • I’m guessing this counts as top 30 visit.
