Would you let your partner delete most of your contacts?

So I was texting a friend and she said she let her boyfriend delete almost all of her contacts because "he dont want me to have alot of guys numbers". Am I the only one who finds this stupid? If you are in a relationship with someone, shouldn't they trust you and not care who is in your phone?

That dude has some insecurity issues.

That's what I was thinking.

It's over the top for sure. If you are in a relationship though it would be weird if she was making new guy friends.

That makes sense but to delete guy friends she already has? That just seems retarded to me.

It does seem odd. So what is your relationship with this girl? Would you go out with her if she was single?

Single men are generally not friends with women in relationships because they are cool or fun to hang out with. Their intentions are well....males intentions. Women are different in that regards. There are very few exceptions though.

When my wife & I were dating she had problems with all the female friends I had. It was almost as simple as telling her "They were my friends before you came around..." It worked itself out, Ive been married for 5 years and dont have any contact with any of them anymore... Dude from the OP has issues, insecurity is another form of immaturity... Dude needs to grow a pair...

When I first read it I thought the guy has problems. Then I remembered I wasn't too comfortable when I found my husband's ex girlfriends number in his phone.

I guess that doesn't change the likely hood that he has problems and I do too.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
