Basically picks 20-32 will come straight out and be labeled some of the most likely to succeed because those picks are picked by teams thats are division winners and playoff contenders so the whole "stable eviorment" argument gives them that leg up versus the top 10 picks.

Second, comparing rookie rb's to rookie qb's is as apples an oranges as you can get.

I hope its because of the way people hated Muhammed Ali when he first came on the scene.

Might be similar, Im trying to make sense of it also. You know when Kobe Bryant came on the scene, I immediately hated him because of how vain and arrogant he was. I can appreciate and admire confidence, but arrogance usually translates to many other cliches (does always whats best for himself rather than the team, etc). Arrogant dudes that play team sports have liabilities and can affect chemistry, sometimes key moments of games.

When the media introduced me to Cam initially I saw a lot of footage and heard a lot of talk about his swagger. There was also that quote about being dominant that kept popping up on the boards. Now, I have come to know that he does things like always hooking kids up with lessons and autographs, wanting to work hard to succeed, wanting to fit in with his teammates. So Cam is just a really confident dude and when I learned that, my perception changed.

Some people may learn this about him and like him and some others might not because they are <insert NFL team> fans and wont bother listening to anything that could make them like him.

With only 3 productive seasons (1,000 yards and 5 tds a yr) would all it would take for a RB's career to be labled successful.

In order for cam to beat that, he'd have to be the best qb in Panther history for at least 8 seasons for his career to be labled, successful.

It is what is is.
