Redskins Plans to make a big run on Free agents. "Barry Cofield" Involved

I think the Redskins would do this deal in a heartbeat, but why would the Panthers do this deal??? First off, they would have to pay him a boatload of money and 2nd if the panthers arent winning than Haynesworth quits trying, BUT if you are winning, it's a good sign, personally, i WANT to see this. As both a Skins fan and panthers fan, i want Haynesworth out and he is happier in a 4-3 and maybe he will actually give a care in Carolina and Washington is so bad at QB they are thinking of playing John Beck, BUT do i see this happening, no. i dont think Carolina would want to do this deal.

for the f**king 13y89a02u3923dde8 time, Haynesworth is owed pennies on the rest of his contract..

as for why they would trade for him? no fuging clue...........

Hope they do not steal Cofield from us

i think you should worry about that if they dont get the Jenkins brothers. if Cullen and Kris are Redskins, then i think Cofield goes elsewhere.

he isnt owed pennies now unless the redskins pay the full contract, now he's not owed as much if traded (if i am right) because they payed him alot of the contract, but he isnt owed pennies, he is still a highly paid player, but he's also moody and has been known as a quitter at times.

my thoughts exactly here. i think Haynesworth CAN be great if he wants to be great, but if he isnt winning, he doesnt try, he's basically the defensive tackle version of Randy Moss.

according to Jason they just want to get rid of him. low ball the poo out of them for Haynesworth.

the Redskins DO want to get rid of him and are willing to part with late round picks, my deal is though, do the panthers want him?? i dont think they do, i think there are possibly 2 or 3 teams intersted in trading for him.

Redskins = comedy of errors

LaCanfora reported that they were could to sign both Cullen and Kris Jenkins as well... Kris Jenkins? really? Cullen would be a good get but Kris is used up and they will overpay.

They want Santonio Holmes so John Beck can throw him the ball?

LOL, just LOL at the Skins...

Well signing both Jenkins brothers wont be bad at the right price, but your right and kris likely would get hurt, though i dont think he's used up. he can still play if healthy. IF he does go to Washington, expect him to rotate with Anthony Bryant and possibly his brother (if he goes to Washington). As for Santonio Holmes, the Skins want him, but i do NOT see holmes in Washington, he will end up with the Jets again. Braylon Edwards could be another story though and Washington may look into him and sign him.

I jest of course. The panthers would not go for this deal, unless the skins gave up a draft pick and Fat Albert for Jimmy and a 7th. Then it hit me that it would actually be possible trade deal for both teams. Given that Albert actually cares to play and remains happy. He's a 4-3 guy, we are a 4-3 defense. To be honest both of the players have their quirks that it's a high risk trade for both teams. But we took a high risk on taking newton and hogan. So why not do this as well?

Washington plans to make a run at (insert top free agent at each position)

Seriously Snyder is a FA ***** and that's worked out for them so well

You should put this quote in your signature to remind everyone that wants us to go on a free agency spending spree all the time. I am not saying that we should not go after free agents, but blockbuster free agent signings don't work more than they do.

:iagree:

This deal wouldn't make sense for the Panthers if they did want Haynesworth. I can't see the Panthers giving away a young QB for a lockerroom cancer and distraction. With Fat Al's rep and lousy work habits, not to mention his contract, the Panthers wouldn't touch this with a ten-foot pole. It would be the worse acquistion since Sean Gilbert.

Haynseworth...really?

Can't believe there is anybody who still wants that trash.

That's right...trash. don't try to put a spin on it. Don't try to justify it. Just accept the fact he is trash, shut up, and move oon already.

As for the redskins planning on being active in the market, the media is prolly still using the same column they've used for the redskins for the last 15 years. Nothing new. The redskins always over spend in free agency. It won't stop any player coming to the panthers. The teams don't even target the same type of players.
