This is the Hold up..On the CBA

The real hold up is that if they re certify right away they will be totally screwing every other professional sports Union out there... MLB, NBA, etc....

If they re certify right away the threat of de certifying in the future won't mean poo!

The issues that you guys are "claiming" is the hang up can all be "collectively bargained" once they re certify... Some of u need to pay attention to the big picture here...

My guess is that the players/NFLPA have been put in a situation where they want to sign right away.... But they just can't... So they'll bring up these things that can obviously be "collectively bargained" so that the casual fan still blames the owners and not the players...

Make no mistake guys... They could re certify whenever they want and as quickly as they'd like... The problem is, in 10 years when this agreement lapses when they threaten to de certify once again... It won't mean poo to the owners... Thereby royally screwing themselves and all other unions in the process...

They will drag this out because they have no choice... Use a little common sense people... It's not like they can really release a statement saying exactly this.

If thats the case then I understand. But its not like we arent on a timeline. The Longer the wait and they keep pushing things back. We will begin to start to lose Pre season games. With the new practice rules the pre season games are going to be more valuable now then they have ever been. Why? Because there are no more two a days and you cant practice for more then 3 hours.

The Camp rosters are going to be extended to 90 players there is no way they can teach all these guys the system so the guys that are undrafted or late round rookies are going to be push back because they want get practice reps. The whole practice now are going to be base on the starters because they are going to need the most reps. So that leaves the pre season games to see what you got in the other players. The longer it drags the more teams like the panthers will be at a disadvantage. So they can drag it out the are only hurting there teams. Especially if they are not that good. Also the undrafted rookies and Late round picks.

Couldn't agree more... Unfortunately this is the business side of it...

The funny thing is that the players wanted less practices...

Guess what morons... Now you have more bodies trying to compete for the same amount of roster spots... This means the guys that are trying to make the team will be going 100% all the time. There will be way more injuries in camp from here in out. They just do "less" work. People will be getting hurt left and right...

From my perspective: If anything it should be like a College conduct hearing deal...the student can bring someone to represent them however that person cannot address the hearing officials directly and can only consult the student for side question purposes.

The drag out tactic Idea is stupid and I hope they aren't stupid enough to do it. The NFL almost makes a billion dollars off of the Pre-Season. If they keep dragging it out and the league starts to drop Pre season weeks, then the amount of money available to the players goes down. They wanted total revenue split, that's what happens when you ask for something like that.

If that is really the only thing holding this up then the owners should just give them a representative and move on.

The guys trying to make the team already go 100% all the time so how is that relevant?
