QB - Bears

RB - Panthers

TE - Panthers

WR - Push

Offensive line - Panthers (lol bears oline)

Defensive line - Bears

Linebackers - Panthers (don't tell me Urlacher can hold Beason's Jock anymore)

DBs - Probably Panthers now that Manning is gone

ST - Bears

meh

WR a push?

Are you drinking again Fiz?

LaFell, Gettis, and Smitty are all better than ANYTHING the Bears have at WR.

Not sure WR is a push now that we know for sure Agent 89 will be in the mix...

Have we sunk that low that the Bears WRs are a Push with us??? Scary thought right there.

A 3rd round pick after the draft is actually considered one round later or a 4th rounder in the trade value chart, since we will have the use of the player for the season while the draft chip sits on Chicago's desk. So this should really be considered a 4th round pick for Olsen.

where do you beat us except for dline and your emo qb?

Forte is top 5 in terms of yards from scrimmage, making him a complete back, the only reason that Carolina would get the edge is because of the effectiveness of the duo.

We have Urlacher and Briggs which are both solid. I really am too lazy to look it up but your dbs are atrocious in regards to pass yard allowed. I mean seriously just look at the stats in comparison? In regards to the 2010 season the WR's can even be made a case... The only clear cut winner you even have is that of the OL....

Yeah, but Carolina had John Fox. Your argument is invalid.

goddamn it I want to unpie posts I accidentally pie when clicking quote. ffffffffffffff.

This is the kind of blind optimism im talking about...

the bears are more proven at a number of spots but honestly position by position the Panthers have some pretty damn good talent. A lot of our talent is extremely young, still developing - if Lafell, Gettis, Newton pan out like it looks like they will, our offense is going to be incredible, and our defense was already pretty decent all things considered.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
