I am not sold on Vick still. He had a pretty good year last year, but a lot of people show flashes of greatness and never return. Could just be me HATIN' on the Iggles, but I really believe he crashes this year. Not saying he will completely suck, but I do not see him being near as good as he was last year.

I think VY is a much better QB than Vick, he is just mentally ill. I think if he can fix his mental problems he will be a great QB, but it is kinda hard to take a chance on a mentally disturbed QB.

The idea guys was that if we signed Vick, we would have the one piece we need to compete for a championship. We would have NEVER have gone 2-14 last year with what would have been a top 10 QB. If you put Vick on this team now, we would be favored to win the NFC South, if not NFC.

Can you imagine Fox sitting in Denver looking at how much money Carolina is spending? If he wasn't on talking terms with Richardson before it hasn't gotten any better. Rivera is being given a much better chance to win than Fox was in the past few years. Then again Rivera's coaching personnel picks seem much better than Fox's at least on paper.

Very true. Fox is against the cap there and trying to convert back to the 4-3. He tried to get CJ, made a play for Mebane--he does not have the $$ for players like that. Ironically, his starting DT is Louis Leonard, a scrap-heap acquisition he picked up here. I wonder if he regrets passing on Dareus yet? Denver is in a bad place right now.

I was gonna post this somewhere yesterday, but much like everything else that comes out of his mouth, it got lost in the shuffle.

I thought it was a throw away comment and didn't even think about how stupid it really was until someone in this thread just pointed out that Fox wasn't fired, he just didn't have a new contract.

anyway...the whole thing is BS. jamie dukes pulled it out of his fat arse. doesn't matter what could have happened. the reality is fox didn't want him and he wouldn't have known how to use him. davidson sure wouldn't have known what to do with him.

fox wasn't fired. fox wasn't given a new contract because he couldn't put back to back winning seasons and he was to stuck trying to win games with old players instead of developing younger ones and giving them PT even when they were better than the guy ahead of them.

And to answer the question, I was fan of Vick since he was at VT... But, I would still want Cam/Rivera. So much more excitement, direction, aggressiveness, and potential with these two than there EVER was with Fox. Even if MV7 would've came here, Fox would've found a way to f*ck it up.
