The Panthers do not need another WR. We have Steve Smith, 3 young 2nd year WR's (2 of which caught 40 passes last year) and 2 pass catching TE's.

Stop rage posting because we didn't trade for Ocho or sign Rice.

Now if you rage post because we haven't signed a CB that is acceptable.

Your opinion - I look at WR corps in the NFL and I think we are average at best. Look at the talent and depth of most of the top teams around the league. They have young WR's with talent playing #3 and #4 WR positions.

THough I am not big on signing a FA this year, I do think we need anothe dominate player. Like if we could draft one of the studs next year, then our offense is truely set for the future.

We have Smith, Edwards, Pilares who can play the slot (I would consider moving SS there if Gettis and Lafell are good out wide).

We have Gettis, a tall 4.4 burner and Lafell, a solid, good blocking #2.

Do not be surprised if Jamorris Warren does not make some noise over the next few weeks. I think he might make the team. Huge upside.

We are average and to bridge the arguments, we are young. If our WRs continue developing toward their potential, and do not pull a Keary Colbert, then we do not need a veteran, IMo.

      This is one of my key concerns lost in the sauce that is the neverending conversation about him evading pressure and the OL. Eventually any QB is going to have to step up into the pocket and show the defense they can still beat them even if they get through. We have a limited QB who cannot consistently do this and as such we are relegated to going back and forth about how successful he was at evading pressure but we have little else to write home about. Tyler Shough stepped up into the pocket and made plays despite being pressured and sacked. He's played in about 35 less games than Bryce Young. That is a problem. And isn't just going to go away. The Bucs are going to do the same thing after watching the film.

      Thanks for illustrating my point.  No one in the last several pages of this discussion is suggesting we should hang on to him, but anytime someone says anything less than "take him out back and shoot him" you act like they are. That's either you not understanding what you're reading or just being a nimrod because you can't keep up. (I would have said 'or just sh-tposting' but you're way too emotional on this topic for that) Either way, the result is the same 😆
