Friend wrote an article about the Olsen trade

When your last season was as hopeless as the 2010-2011 season for the Carolina Panthers, you need to do something big to improve the team as much as you can. The Panthers appear to have done just that in this past week, acquiring what may be a crucial part of any hopes they have of a quick turnaround.

Not a very good writer, IMO.

Tell your friend the world needs ditch diggers too.

I've read worse on bleacher report but it was still rather awful.

<3 you guys too.

Anyone have any actual constructive criticism I could use? I haven't even started my first year of studying journalism yet, so it's obviously not going to be as good as a majority of the articles you see on larger sports websites. That's why useful feedback would help instead of "olololol bad".

And yeah, I noticed the run-ons now that I look. I was running on three hours of sleep and caffeine yesterday. Not really surprising. Shouldn't happen too often.

Before we start the "it's terrible" crap, keep in mind, I'm an 18 year old writer who's just going into his first year old college for Journalism. Or course this isn't as good as ESPN articles and other stuff. So, if you have a suggestion or any HELPFUL criticisms to help me improve, go right ahead. But temper your expectations a bit. I'm not even through college yet. Just out of high school, in fact. So bear with me for now until I get some more experience under my belt.

    • I did get some coin in on the Knicks to win the whole thing at +3300 immediately after they won game two and before their odds made a huge shift so I'm not mad at this news. I don't expect them to win but I'll probably be able to cash for a good amount if they make the finals.
    • Horn and T-Mac will get matched up a lot, but it won't be 100% of the time, nor should it be anything close to that. Yes, it would benefit T-Mac's ability to get better at beating the press, but it would also be a detriment both of them for them to be matched up too much more than 50% of their reps. Neither is likely to end up going up against similar players in games, not many teams have WRs the size of T-Mac and not many teams have CB's with the physicality of Horn.  Horn needs to work on covering smaller shiftier WRs as well, just as T-Mac needs plenty of reps against smaller CBs so he can work on using his frame to body them out of position.
    • Tatum tore his Achilles it looks like. At least watching the injury that's what it seems to be. He's probably out all next year and Boston sucks and gets a lottery pick. :insert eye roll here:
