do you believe in a government by the people, for the people?

what do you want troops to do to win the war that you don't want the people to see/know about?

Operations before or while they're happening.

The American media portray the insurgents as brainless cavemen while in reality they see everything you see on TV and they see everything intelligence analysts see in the field. Limit the information out there.

Nothing against the armed forces of any type.

But think about this...

If the USA turned into something along the lines of an Afghanistan-ish nation, where the states ended up becoming groups of people/vigilantes and were protecting their beliefs, way of life, families, homes, and such with no organized system in place (I know it wouldn't be the same but the general idea is) and someone invaded here and tried to force their will and political way of life upon you, and you fought back. YOU would be a "terrorist". In my opinion, if you believe that people fighting on their homeland for their way of life is something completely terrible that they don't deserve to live, then your either a hypocrite, or you should gain some intelligence about other peoples struggles and how America isn't the fuging peacekeepers.

I would like to think that if a Talibanish style group took over the US, I would favor the invaders.

Odds are... None of you have been close to Afghanistan, let alone fought there. With that said, I would like to inform each of you that these guys lost their lives fighting for the men on their left and right. There families will be forever changed... Wives widowed, children fatherless, parents in mourning... They gave the ultimate sacrifice that have allowed you all the freedoms that we express and have on a daily basis. I have seen firsthand the effects that death has on a family. I have been praying for their families since I first found out. A solemn day none the less.

If u have doubts or theories, u have that right... But for God's sakes... Show these men the respect they deserve... Heaven forbid I was over there and in that mission. It's sad to think that this is how I would be remembered.

For those of you who support our troops... Thank you. It means more than you will ever know!

The USA has been crippled ever since we allowed reporters/cameras to follow them around.

Nah. Press access is important. Military organizations have to answer to the people, and information is about the only way they can be held accountable/honest.

      You bring up a good point on the stability part and i would agree that probably will factor into it. But yes, Tepper does have a strong influence on who stays/goes but I still believe ultimately it'is Morgan, Tilis and Canales who will decide.

      I can always count on yout to put things so delicately lol. I'm still not sold on the fact that Tepper will make them keep him if they don't see him as a long term answer.

      holy poo... this thread inspired me to keep trying to guess passwords to various alts I've created over the years and I finally got in! I pretty much accepted my fate as a lurker for the last several months because I could not remember my password. I didn't realize that new users couldn't join either, that explains things. I have been around for years under several different monikers, through the good and bad. I too always find myself coming back here even with all of the new social media options for Panther fan engagement. It's simply nostalgic.   I do get extremely annoyed with the same 5-10 posters shitting on Bryce and complaining about everything. It's unfortunate that half of them are mods and that nobody new can join because now I pretty much just come on here and see Bryce / Panther slander. There is barely any positivity to be had. We all watch this team and hang on this forum for entertainment purposes only. We have no control or say in anything. I used to be such a crazy ass fan that would argue with strangers about Cam newton on the internet and at games. Now, as a father of 3, a business owner and someone with way gnarlier life problems - I like to watch football and talk about football as an escape. Not to bitch more. I really like the direction of the team and will root anyone in a Panthers jersey. I live down the street from the Rams practice facility, Matthew Stafford is currently coaching his daughters flag football team in the same program I coach my sons. I have two highly ranked Rams staff members sons on my team. The way we beat them and had them on the ropes in the playoffs has me feeling amazing, and you would think we have the next great thing in Bryce with the way they all speak of him. I'm gonna ride that high and be a delusional fan, I hope that huddle can stick around or get fixed and perhaps I will get back to posting more now that I can log in again. I will do my best to not get banned. Keep Pounding!
