Norwood>Brown

Interesting note: Ron Rivera sees Eric Norwood as ahead of Everette Brown on the depth chart. He'd like to see more consistency from Brown.

josephperson Joe Person says Norwood has moved ahead of E Brown b/c he's been more physical.

I've been a noted Brown supporter and thought he started played well before he got injured and was working hard to improve.

Still Rivera looks as he is trying to play the best players and is playing no favorites. This a ploy to make Brown hungrier or just how it really is?

Brown was drafted when Meeks ran the defense with the notion that he'd be our version of Dwight Freeney.

Wasn't a big fan of that idea honestly, but hoped it would work out better than it seems to have.

Philly's schemes sometimes employed undersized pass rushers too, but I don't know how much of that we'll see here.

Norwood is a true baller and I'm excited to see him get a legit shot at some meaningful PT. I think given the opportunity, everyone will be pleasantly surprised at what he can do.

I agree that Everette Brown has potential to be great but something just doesn't sit well with me about him. Dunno what it is...maybe its what mvp said....he just seems a little soft.

He would probably be ideal is a 3-4 system and I heard grumblings last year he wasn't doing great developing strong counter moves, hinting he was either too soft or failing in his technique.

I dunno about Brown he is still too young for me to write him off. Look how long it has taken for Irvin to get it together; and D-Will before him.

very true. I just am encouraged that things don't seem to be status-quo as far as last year vs this year. The new staff has been evaluating guys from square one and that can only be a good thing for the future of the franchise, IMO.

I hope they all compete to the point where its a tossup and the coaches feel we have 3-5 guys who can go hard whenever they need them,

What is ideal of course is...."our problem is that we have too much good young talent" ....:D

Needs more spin move. I expect Norwood to get more play. EB will be used in packages and let go after his contract.
