At least Cam Newton through it down field when we needed to yards. All I see Clausen doing in checking down, for the most part.

One thing that gave us a record of 2-14 last year...

Rookie or no, CAM is our best bet this season, IMHO.

if clausen throws it down field and is intercepted this board would bust his balls too. No win for that guy.

Teaching Clausen to look downfield is a lot easier than reworking Cam's footwork

Have to start Clausen week 1 at this point, Newton just needs more time, and that's fine. He's a rookie and a work in progress, exactly what we all knew when he was drafted.
