I believe Hurney needs to make a move on a CB

we also do need to remember that our #1 corner was out... the majority of teams would look pretty bad against the passing game with their #1 out.

Chris Gamble isn't going to be able to handle all receivers, and I think we seen enough tonight to know that we need another CB. Just someone to compliment Chris Gamble.

Like I've said, Captain Munnerlyn is very capable of playing in the NFL. But, I think he's just too short to be any thing other than a nickelback.

Chad Henne looked like Joe f'n Montana tonight, and that's sad.

STANFORD STRUGGLES: Stanford really struggled in the early going covering Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who found his way open on nearly ever play from scrimmage and caught five passes for 46 yards.

Stanford’s backup Robert McClain didn’t do much better.

The Panthers are expected to add another cornerback to the roster after other teams make their final cuts Sept. 3, but Friday night emphasized just how important it is to keep Gamble on the field. Gamble, who said he’ll cover the opposition’s top wide receiver on most plays this season, was bothered early in camp by an illness and a hamstring problem. He returned to the field briefly last week, but then injured his groin.

We were getting lit up by the friggin dolphins. Let that sink in for a second.

Comon now we all know the vaunted Dolphins offense is feared by all in the league. :D

I mean it's just a preseason game and it's not the end of the world, but if you are a member of the Carolina defense your pride has to be hurting after that molestation.

We were getting burnt BY CHECKDOWNS!!!

I don't consider quick slants to be check downs, which IMO is what burnt us early in the passing game. The rest fell apart from there and the Grand Canyon sized holes their RBs ran through.
