There's been a fair number of corner injuries this offseason, so more teams than just us are on the market.

We're first in waiver order, but would have to compete for vested vets.

rewatched the frustrating bengals game and closely watched Everette. he's not going to make it as an everyday defensive end. he does have pass rushing skills. i'm not sure he fits the profile of what rivera wants from a defensive end, actually. he may be a surprise cut. makes me wonder if the panthers are sneakily keeping an eye on DE cuts around the league.

That would be hillarious if we picked up Gholston and still had Brown. We'd have a rotation of bust DE's from two of the worst DE draft classes in recent memory! In fact I think the only guys who were drafted anywhere on the D-Line for '08 and '09 that have even remotely panned out are Chris Long, BJ Raji, and Brian Orakpo. At least we aren't alone.

I'm really interested in seeing what the Eagles do with their DL situation. They are stacked!! Some names I'm hearing is Trevor Laws and maybe Juqua Parker as a cap casualty. I would definately bring those two in if they're given the axe.

Bucs let go of CB Ashton Youboty, formerly a draft pick of the Bills. Used to watch him at Ohio State. He was good back then but has struggled in the pros.

Seahawks swapped a corner (Kelly Jennings) for a DT (Clinton McDonald) with the Bengals. Ironic given those are both positions of need for us.

I think (DE) Vernon Gholston, (C/G) Andre Gurode, (CB) Nate Jones, (CB) Kevin Dockery, (OL) Oneil Cousins, and (DT) Jovan Haye would all be good assets at this point.

They are better than a lot of what we have right now on the roster.

Of that bunch, Gurode and Haye interest me most. The majority of the others I could see but wouldn't be especially excited about.

There should be other interesting guys that get cut, those are just the best that have gotten cut so far...at least in my opinion.
