I think this is a game where we could surprise some people and win and then get overrated going into week 2. Fitzgerald is going to get his yards but if you shut down their running game and make Kolb win the game for them then I think we can win week 1. If they start pounding it down our throats when we have 7-8 in the box then we are in trouble. DL has to be strong and OL has to be strong so we can control the ball and make it easier for Cam. Put pressure on Kolb to beat us and we are in the game...

You give Kolb the the scenario Dalton got....and he will carve us like a Thanksgiving turkey. I think Kob is average.....but ifwe get blown out it will be b/c the DL blows and our secondary can't cover w/ no pass rush.

The man has a point here...I've never seen a worse starting defense in my life than this preseason. Tim Couch could tear apart the secondary we had on the field in Cincy...

This should be one of our 5 wins this year....the others coming against Washington, Minnesota, Tennessee and the last game in New Orleans since they'll be resting their starters for the playoffs but I just think it would be sweet for Cam to get his first NFL win in the same stadium where he won the BCS National Championship. :cool:

Perhaps, after beating the crap out of the Saints, and with all that extra rest they will overlook the lowly Panthers in Charlotte.

On the other hand, if the Saints should be the Packers, well, that would be not a good thing for our beloved Panthers.
