Don't need TJ. Lafell showed today he has what it takes to be our #2. If it becomes consistent, we can probably forget about WR for a while if Gettis can come back next year and not lose a step. At very worst, it's not our biggest concern due to Smitty + our TEs.

I mean could our receiving corps be better? Sure, why not. Are there far more glaring needs on this team that need to be addressed than adding another WR when we do already have what appears to be at least a servicable #2 for now as well as two receiving TEs that our OC actually wants to use? Yes.

I am far more interested in who we add at DT than I am scouring the scrap yard for another receiver at this point.

Fwiw, Nanee played fairly well until the last couple of plays. And honestly, the same can be said of Cam. And I don't like throwing a fade route in that situation.

Fwiw, all of our receivers had good games yesterday. I don't remember seeing many dropped balls. Olsen dropped a couple, and that was about it.

I like LaFell more than Naanee after that game.. Naanee showed no heart, and did not even attempt to go for that fade at the end of the game. I don't have much patience for players that do not give their best effort.. especially with the game on the line.

I think there are several upgrades out in FA that would make our offense even more dynamic. Veteran WRs that still have something left in the tank. Moss/TO/Housh are just a few guys that would be an upgrade over Naanee. Sure they are not long term options, but neither is Naanee..

Didn't fox start lafell last year over gettis because he favored his run blocking more? If he continues the strides he made yesterday I think we will be ok with naane as our slot.

We need at least one good vet DT, I would get 2 as they got abused against an average line. Cut Nanee and sign Avery. If hes healthy he could probably start contributing immediately. Hes young and has a lot of upside and he would be a cheap low risk high reward type of pickup.

Then bring back Williams as LB depth and this team would be scary if the Oline can relearn how to freaking run block.
