Does anybody think Brady didn't like that Cam threw for 400+yards?

Brady had never thrown for 400 yards in a game, then Cam does it in his first game! Even without the 99 yard pass he would have beaten Cam in yards. So, is Brady that shallow and vain that he had to beat a rookie? or is just a coincidence?

and BTW, you are assuming Brady wouldn't have thrown for 5 more yards. Even if the pass hadn't gone for 99, the catch alone would have put him over Cam.

When they showed the stat last night stating that Brady had NEVER thrown a 400 yard passing game, I was quite surprised. As much as the Patriots love to run up the score, you'd have thought that he'd done it numerous times by now.

Yup right before the game Tom went to Bill and said "hey bill I'm pissed that cam threw for 400+ yards, can I go out there and throw a lot tonight? Pleaseeeeee?"

This assertion would be about as true as Cam thinking in yesterday's game that he had to throw for more yards than Brees or Rogers because of their numbers on Thursday.

when I saw Brady's yardage during the game, I thought the same thing. He said there is no way a rookie is gonna lead the NFL in yardage. He basically had Cam beat before the 99 yard pass.

watch the post game interview...it was sort of a gag play for them. it was an opportunity for wes welker to run something other than a seam route, and they took advantage of it.
