Does anybody think Brady didn't like that Cam threw for 400+yards?

Brady had never thrown for 400 yards in a game, then Cam does it in his first game! Even without the 99 yard pass he would have beaten Cam in yards. So, is Brady that shallow and vain that he had to beat a rookie? or is just a coincidence?

*stirring the pot* :seeya:

517 yards - 99 yards = 418 yards

422 > 418

If they create a rivalry in which they are constantly trying to one up each other that would be a good thing (of course Brady would win right now).

Worked for Bird and Magic. They had an unhealthy obsession with one another that drove both of them to greatness. Of course they came to the league at the same time and already had a history so this is like comparing apples to watermelons .

Tom won't be a true competitor if he wasn't inspired. Tom has an ego. He eeven said he's still upset by the Jets knocking them out of the playoffs.

i didn't mean to give pie to panther53521...there really should be an unpie button.

tom brady could give a rat's left testicle about what cam newton does...unless they were playing against each other.

watch the post game interview...it was sort of a gag play for them. it was an opportunity for wes welker to run something other than a seam route, and they took advantage of it.
