I do know that you have to be careful which ones to buy, the older games often don't have any winning cards left in circulation and they're being sold anyway.

I might play the lottery only once or twice a year, mostly because my wife loves it.

A guy I used to work with won 100k once, 50k once 25k 3x and 10k 5 times... He moved her in 08 and plays $150 a week. Last I talked to him he was bitching because he had not won anything over 1k in 6 months.

If you play tickets under $10 you are wasting your time.

I fugging hate it when I am standing in line at the gas station to buy drinks or something and some low-life with 3 kids that they can't provide for is buying lottery tickets.

Every time that I have ever seen someone win $5 or whatever, they always cash that back in for another ticket.

and it always takes fuging 30 minutes for them to do their thing and register and pay, etc. so obnoxious

I won $70 on $9 worth of tickets abut a year ago. I still get them from the vending machine every once in a great while. If I wasn't spending money on a scratch off lottery ticket, I'd be spending more on some ho! :p

Take her to Red Rocks, listen to her talk about what a poo her ex was, then at the end of the date MAYBE get a G'night kiss. I get more satisfaction on buying lottery tickets. Or a bag of dirt that I stand a good chance of getting some gold out of it!

      When a team has EXPECTATIONS you have to show them that your fandom and praise is EARNED.  People would be mad if the they lost two one goal competitive games like 2023 but they wouldn't have gotten booed out of the building because the effort and competitiveness would be there but to lose in THAT fashion at home with your entire top line going free lance and saying fug this yeahhh.

      Well with back to back road games to open the season again we really can't afford a "slow start" at least not for the psyche of the fanbase that is already at rock bottom from years of losing. I think that will depend on our approach to preseason this go around. But I do agree the makings of a culture change could be big for us. At the same time we heard talk of this last year and then we got the doors blown off multiple times. I can agree with you it's best to try to maintain perspective until we get closer to the midway point of the season. The main things I want to see early on even if we aren't necessarily winning is spark and toughness from the offense and defense and at least keeping games close.
