  • F*ck the NFL and their refs. They got what they wanted out of this game. Another really good-great performance from the #1 pick, and the Super Bowl champs still win it. I say the second INT on the crossing pattern to Smitty and the third INT on the overthrow to Legadu were on Cam completely but the penalties took so many points off the board for us.

Now, take into account the multiple penalties in the first two drives in the red zone, and these guys were working hard for their team - the Packers, and subsequently, the NFL, because it's in their best interest. Also, the huge arm bar pass interference the refs DIDN'T call on Woodson on the pass to Smitty after the LaFell 3rd down catch on the sideline... Yeah. Bullsh*t.

The refs took about 13 points away from us today. They took away a TD on the second drive IIRC, I believe it was a TD pass to Olsen. They took away another potential score at the end of the 1st half with the huge completion to Naanee which was called offensive PI. And there was another play which would've gave us at the least a FG, but instead we got nothing because of repeated "interpretation" calls either being made or not being made in the Packers favor.

  • LaFell should be the #2 WR at this point. Maybe part of him excelling right now is because he's working in the slot, but he has been really impressive. Aside from bodycatching the first TD, he is balling out.

  • Legadu is NOT good. Why is it that every play this guy looks like his legs are struggling to keep up with his upper body? I don't know that I've ever seen a WR look like this. He just looks awkward and always looks off-balanced and like his legs aren't underneath him. Sure, Cam's throw to him in the endzone in the 4th on the bootleg wasn't completely accurate, but if that would've been LaFell, I have a feeling he may have been able to lay out and catch it. Legadu just looks clunky and very awkward... When he runs, he looks like Victor Ortiz after a Mayweather two-piece and a biscuit. I've seen enough of him.

  • I have my first complaint with the offense. Chudz... C'mon man. You have to use a bit more balance. I get that we couldn't run early on... And believe me, I understand how frustrating it feels to repeatedly see 2nd and 9 and 3rd and 9 after runs... But, once Cam threw for 300 some yards, I think the Packers understood we can throw, and we can throw it REALLY well... So, that's when you can get back to the run. We should've run it A LOT more in the late 3rd and throughout the 4th.

The pass had loosened up the middle and during the 4th the Packers were dropping 8 into coverage, especially in the red zone... The bootleg keeper that Cam lost 3 on on 3rd and 1? Should've been a run from the get go. And there should've been a lot more running before that in the 4th. Teams know we can and will throw, and are now having to show respect for that. Let's get some runs back in there to keep them guessing and make it easier for the pass game. Thanks.

  • Cam is continuing to be everything I expected and I'm proud of him. We have our franchise QB and as expected, there are going to be some "WTF were you doing!?!?" plays, but as we have seen, the good far outweighs the bad. And to be honest, I don't expect him to have another 3 INT game this year. Let's keep in mind Peyton Manning's rookie numbers (as he is the standard of comparison), he too threw INTs because he was learning on the job. It's expected to happen here and there. But, overall, Cam is showing great decision making and great touch on MOST throws.

I can live with the 3 INTs as he is still learning, but those same mistakes shouldn't happen next year, and they won't. The guy is immensely talented, he's a winner (yes we're 0-2, but you know what I mean), and he wants to be the best... He's gonna be great. Once we get some balance on offense and shore up some other things (less penalties, minimal turnovers), we will win.

We are in great shape for the future... Now, if only we could keep all of our guys on the field.

That is all.

I stopped reading after you said the offensive pass interference lead to the first INT...the first interception was before that play but oh well. You just seem a little fired up about the refs who may have made some questionable calls but in no way shape or form caused us to lose that game. Oh and the drive when the Olsen TD was called back ended in a touchdown anyway so I'm not sure why that even mattered.

The bs holding call on Gross had me stunned. The PI call was also bogus. The good news is that the refs who made those horrible calls will have to answer for them after our coaching staff submits their complaints. The refs in question will have no answer for the calls they made.

EDIT: You were right... The INT came before the OPI.

I like to know where that Gross holding call came to. I looked at replay, all the man did was put his hand on his back for maybe 1-2 sec and let go. No holding, no putting arms around guy. The defender had free rein to move.

It was the worst holding related call I have ever seen.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Some holds are blatant and can't be ignored, and they HAVE TO BE CALLED. But, we had prime opportunities to score multiple times in this game and had phantom calls made to pull us back like this one.

Yet, I don't know how many times on the Packers huge passes did I see their OL almost completely ripping CJ and Hardy's jerseys off. And I only remember their #75 being called for holding twice.

Funny how that works.

I have a problem with running right up the damn middle. No Goodson sweeps, hardly any off tackle runs, it was just right up the gut for some reason.

I said this in one of the threads after last week, but I seriously am starting to wonder if this is execution vs. philosophy causing the lack of effectiveness in the run game? I'm starting to feel like it's the system that is hurting the run game.

The passing game looks better than it ever has in our history, obviously... But, it may be coming at the cost of the run. I'm not asking for Foxball, but it's clear we need a bit more attempts from our RBs, especially when we have the ones we do.

    • 100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
    • "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
