Panthers will be the face of the NFL this decade

This is all predicated on the new assumption that Cam Newton is an elite Franchise QB and rare talent that we are now building a long-term nucleus around.............so, Cam Newton is going to be the face of the NFL and with it the Carolina Panthers in the very near future. I’m talking huge endorsement deals, Madden covers, Magazine covers coming soon, and often. Two games in he’s already the talk of the NFL with Fox having a newton shrine all day on the set yesterday. It may be politically incorrect point to make but I’m going to make it anyway: Cam Newton is the black QB the sports Media/marketing world has longed for. Clean cut, attractive and a freak of nature with unique athletic talent and as it appears a legit elite QB talent. He doesn’t appear to be like McNabb where the media over hypes his talent, in this case it early on appears legit, and better yet he has the Personality the marketing world love. My guess is Nike and Addidas get in a bidding war for him with Under Armor, along with many other major endorsement deals. Because of Cam, the Panthers will become one of the most loved/hated team in the country which is a good thing. We are now creating a NATIONAL bandwagon, panthers jersey’s will be common attire around the country and later the globe.

No more seasons of the Panthers getting no Primetime games. Next season I predict we get 2-4 min. primetime games. If we play Philly, you can bet it will be a Sunday or Monday Night game of the week.

Fun times ahead…..long over due. I think there is a real possibility Cam and the Panthers become a household name in the same way Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods have. Sports Icon

Madden covers

Cam on Madden covers? Have we not learned our lesson with the Madden curse?:D Nope, ESPN will hopefully be back next year once the exclusive license runs down, and Cam will be their cover boy. We all know what happened with TO and the Eagles when TO was the 2k cover boy. (Superbowl appearance) ESPN 2K Blessing > Madden Curse.

    • This makes an interesting case for two awards: Best QB (We'll workshop the actual title) and MVP-Other.
    • new article " If they do opt to roll with the younger and cheaper options, the Panthers probably wouldn't bite on Moore. They've seen him get worse since trading him away, and virtually no one on the team was part of that decision or that era. Still, it would be hilarious to see Moore return home. It would also be a pretty solid addition, assuming the Bears ate some of the cost and/or it didn't require much capital to get him. A wide receiver room of Tetairoa McMillan, Jalen Coker, Moore, Xavier Legette, and Jimmy Horn Jr. would be nice." https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/onsi/news/panthers-hilarious-landing-spot-unhappy-bears-wr#:~:text=It all looks like the, much capital to get him.
    • BTW - this was statistically the worst season of his career.  He had more yards even as a rookie.   DJ Moore Career Statistics (Receiving)   Year  Team Receptions Yards Touchdowns 2018 Panthers 55 788 2 2019 Panthers 87 1,175 4 2020 Panthers 66 1,193 4 2021 Panthers 93 1,157 4 2022 Panthers 63 888 7 2023 Bears 96 1,364 8 2024 Bears 98 966 6 2025 Bears 50 682 6 Total   608 8,213 41
