Exactly. The Jags extra point was almost blocked because the kicker couldn't lift the ball in that mud. Asking Mare to kick a 50 yarder is just stupid. No coach does it in those conditions.

I'm not arguing with you guys. When I posted this, the game was still on and ^He was running clock deciding. It's easy for anybody to now after the fact to criticize. Nobody here is man enough to admit that this call could have costed us the game... I'm Super glad it didn't, but I didn't like the call.

We just picked up our 3rd win in 2 yrs...

I am Not mad

Missing the FG also could have lost the game

IF* Gabbart leads them down and they win... Then what?

It's only a good move cause it worked out.

I completely disagree with the call. Take those 3 points and put the game out of reach!

And if he misses the fg (a difficult kick at that distance even in good weather) they start with great field position. And if he falls down, or the snap of a wet ball is fumbled, it could be much much worse. In that weather, its the right call.

      I'd rather get a vet to fill XL's spot for a chain mover and give Jimmy Horn more reps since he's basically our Ted Ginn speed guy. T-Mac and Coker are locked in as the top 2. They honestly fuged up giving XL the start over Moore in the playoff game

      I have been looking for a dropped pass list and all that comes up is QBs. And team stats. When I do receivers I get the passing stats for a handful that threw passes this year.    I wanted to be accurate but anyhow I was looking because thought I remembered reading where T Mac had more drops than XL this year.  One of you many smarter than me people here,I would appreciate it if you know how to pull that up, please do. Thank you.    And yeah I know that isn’t all there is to it I just thought it was interesting.  Of course what the hell is a drop lol.

      I agree with this and I think it's worth mentioning too that Bryce is not consistent on his placement and especially velocity and that in large part is driven by his footwork. We all know XL doesn't have the best hands and I don't know that he can overcome that. Cam always had the heater that just hit your hands and sank into your grip, where Bryce has some that are harder thrown, some soft. Bryce stepping into a pass looks so much different than that hop throw thing he does. I think XL really needs to hit the jugs machine and start learning how to catch all these different touch passes. TMac and Coker don't have these issues. If XL doesn't get some work in he's going to be out of the league in the next couple of years.
