Stewart wasn't down!

Not one of the replays clearly showed his elbow touch the ground and that is what they needed to overturn the play. That was one of the best screen plays I have ever seen and now it is erased by a bull**** call. That play swung the whole game in Jacksonville's favor. Thank god we were able to pull out a win. I was pissed for the entire third quarter after that. Everoney agrees that was BS right??

Of course. There was no INDISPUTABLE evidence. The rules says indisputable.

There was no clear visual evidence to show his elbow was down, that play should have stood on the very premise of the replay rule.

thats what I thought too, though I thought I heard the announcers say before the commrecial break "well is that his forearm or elbow" at one point...

You are right. The rules say undisputable visual evidence. Hell at that point all you saw on the video was water. If we punch that in go up 12-3 we have all the big mo and Jags roll over instead they get the bullpoo play and really should have won this game. We did what we had to do to win it and I am happy with it.:cheers2:

it was a 7-10 pt swing to the Jags.

I think he landed on his hand not elbow

the way his body went down then back up made me think he used his momentum to pull himself out of a roll when his elbow hit the ground, but I could be wrong. either way, how do you overturn that with the camera angles we saw?? you can't...

agreed.

There was no evidence to overturn the call on the field.

By rule, they shouldn't of over turned it.

Thankfully, we over came a very sloppy game, one that include cam being off target most of the day.

At one point the broadcasters said that the panthers were lucky due to miscues by the jags. That made me laugh out loud! The jags were lucky cam had an off day!
