The NFL should issue a public apology to the Panthers.

Well even if they did we're still going to be 1-3, what's the difference..

Maybe if we hadn't let hester run it back on us or if we did better in the red zone and came away with tds instead of field goals that call wouldn't of mattered.

For The Jeremy Shockey call. That was an atrocious call, and it's starting to gain steam in the public eye. They were bashing it on NFLN earlier, Peter King was just discussing it on Twitter, local media has obviously called it out. I imagine it, along with Meriweather's helmet to helmet tackle, and a few other things, will be reported to The League.

So my questions to you are this..

1) Should the NFL issue a public apology to the Panthers for taking away a TD that ended up costing them the game?

2) Should controversial penalties be reviewed on the field, or at least challengeable?

Don't know if there is a worse feeling than having the officials sticking their nose where it doesn't belong and stealing a W away from you.

Penalties should absolutely be reviewed. It's completely stupid not to.

Feels the same way to me each week, even the reffs at our house couldn't pull it off for the Jags but the rest of the games would have been different had the officials had made the calls the same way. Sorry not making excuses but it dang sure makes my blood pressure go up!!!!!!!

NO... Actually there are rules against leafing with your helmet, which is exactly what happened.

^He will be fined

players hit and tackle with there helmets every game.....you get flagged for doing to a defenseless reciever.....you have more wiggle room when they are a runner.

Apologize for that Gross hold

Someone said it was Shockey, he didn't hold either. Nobody held

I watch all other teams constantly score and I dont see flags. Why the hell these flags come out after we score. Needs to addressed publicly since I believe doing it behind scenes isn't helping

He led with the helmet and hit Smitty in the helmet.

The NFL told referees to start ejecting players for helmet to helmet hits in 2008.
