LaFell has 2/3 the amount of targets yet more than double the production. Good job sticking with "your guy" there coach.

Rivera isn't stupid. I don't understand why he hasn't made the change yet, but I think he is starting to realize that he has no choice.

It's not like Naanee was lighting it up in San Diego or preseason and these last 4 games look like a fluke. He's had Dwayne Jarrett-esque production his entire career and was dead last in receiving during the preseason. I don't know why Rivera thinks some magical light is suddenly going to turn on for him 5 years into his career.

29% completion rate when Naanee is targeted. Someone tape that to Rivera's office door.

Fowler says 33%, but I think he's leaving out the targets where Naanee had offensive pass interference and interceptions.

i think lafell needs more targets as well, but in naanee's defense he prob runs more routes in areas where cam is not as accurate. that said i still want him seeing the ball less

On the flipside, in the latest presser Joe Person asked Ron Rivera about the decision to replace Mike Goodson on kick returns with Kealoha Pilares.

Rivera politely corrected that it was actually Jordan Pugh who had replaced Goodson.

That two point conversion we were going for was down the middle. I've seen smitty, olsen, shockey, even armanti in preseason albeit, catch that pass.

Naanee gave up..

I've seen other players make catches or even FIGHT for the ball. Naanee doesn't. He seems very apathetic about getting to the ball.

Naanee has gotten a lot better in run blocking from where he was in preseason and week 1, but he's really not very useful in the passing game right now. Which is a damn good reason to bench him and give someone else a go.
