Texans released KR Trindon Holliday from the practice squad. I wonder if he'll get picked up. Top-end speed, but very small.

Since it looks like we are in a little bit of a flux at at KR, this could be an option.

However, I don't believe we have the roster space to allow this luxury.

Its a possibility. The guy runs a avgs a 4.2

Our KR game woes aren't really to blame on one guy. I think we could put Hester back there and we would still be averaging 5 yards per punt return.

Better than Indianapolis at .7 lol

The problem with our KR game is that Goodson doesn't seem to be able to judge when to bring the ball out. If you can't take the ball to the 30 on every return now, you might as well take a knee in the endzone. With the Panthers getting called for penalties on their kick returns, those Goodson returns to the 21 or 22 yard line turn into starts on the 10 when you factor in penalties.

Love Trindon. Him and Demps were the fastest players in CFB while he was still at LSU.

But like others are saying, we aren't struggling at KR because of Goodson but more because of the new rule. At least Goodson adds something else to the team. Trindon Holliday would have to add more than just his KR abilities in today's game considering the KR is being devalued.

I honestly think he knows and can judge, but he is so anxious to make a play because he never gets PT.

That may be true. It's a shame that Goodson doesn't get time in this offense, because his skills are tailor made for it. Oh well, we have the 43 million dollar guy in front of him.

The dude is 5'5 RB/KR...he would have no real use on our team considering KR has been made pretty obsolete with the new rule

Many thought the new rules would make KR's obsolete. However, this has been proven to be false....there are a ton of kicks being brought out of the endzone.

    • Many layers my frend- Panthers had a draft recently. They picked 4 defense players. Each player picked 11, 22, 33, 55 as their number. For some players that number match the round or pre-draft round rank, example- Prince was a 3rd rounder and choose 33. Nic was a 1st rounder on some mock drafts and Dan Morgan said they had him as a 1st, he picked 11. Cam Jackson recently switched his number to 55, same as draft and has been telling Dave he wants to be special over and over.  The 44 was to add GOAT feels, thoughts, and more intrigue to this rookie phenomenon. X files was cause it was a great TV show and maybe it was playing when this theory came together.......   I hope this helps!
    • The best things Purdy has are certainly important tools for any QB. His accuracy his timing his decision making etc. I feel like he is a high end Teddy Bridgewater. You can compete and win in the regular season with this especially in a weakened NFC but where his limitations come into focus is when you are trying to contend for a Super Bowl you are going against elite and in some instances generational QB's like Mahomes. And when the time has come for him to go up against Mahomes he simply can't get it done. Now certainly he is not alone in that regard and people will point to another highly regarded QB such as Josh Allen who also cannot get by Mahomes. But the difference I see is Allen is not IMO at a phsyical disadvantage in that matchup whereas Purdy is. And that is with what had been to this point a comically stacked roster around Purdy and let's be clear we cannot understate that regardless of which side of the fence we land on in this debate. Purdy has had a top 5 roster and a top 5 coach. And the last time they went to the Super Bowl they leaned on McCaffrey extremely heavily. Now with what they are having to pay him and divert limited resources elsewhere they face a steep climb to get back to the Super Bowl let alone actually win it.
    • Lonzo mentioned Melo going to the Clippers, but he also said we would draft Dylan Harper and he isn't making it to 4.
