rivera and the coaching staff cost us this game

If Rivera doesn't call TO at the end of the half like a retard, we go to overtime.

If Rivera calls just 1 TO on the final Saints drive, we have 30 seconds more on our final drive.

If Chud doesn't go to Naanee constantly in the final minute, we probably get into FG range.

Here's an honest fact and the truth sometimes hurts right? If Fox was here, we would have won today.

If the Saints fail to score, we win flat out, with no time on the clock.

Your acting like we are so much better. Until they were trounced by the 49ers they were tied for 1st in our division. Where we were dead last and that with one of the best young QB's in the game, they are doing it with Alex fuggin Smith. And they weren't just beat they got destroyed.

The 49ers would be in the exact same place we are now if they played our schedule. They wouldn't have beaten the Bears, Packers, or Saints. And I really don't think they would have beaten the Jaguars, depending on whether they played them pre-gabbert or not.

The coaches are the reason we were in every game so far this season to begin with. The coaches are the reason that we came back to take the lead in this game midway through the fourth quarter.

They didn't do everything right, but they are doing a lot of things right. Nitpick if you want, but this team is getting stronger and always improves from the first half to the second. I like our coaching staff and look forward to seeing this team grow and become a consistent dominant force.

Stop this your embarrassing yourself. If this would happen or if that were the case... Ridiculous. The 49ers are 4-1 we are 1-4. They are playing better football end of story. Homerism is such an unflattering color on you.

While I agree that time out was an incredible bone headed call, I disagree with the concept of winning under Fox or even doing better under Fox. that one is a bit of a stretch for me - sorry dude!

Good! I was expecting to come to the huddle and find a bunch of homerism threads talking about another quality loss.

Super exciting (and perfect weather) day at the ATM but sucks for another loss. And you can definitely point to the coaches.

I'm psyched for the next game but it would be 100x more exciting if we were not out of the season.

Having 12 men is irrelevant. Worst case is that Kasay has an even easier field goal. Best case is that the Saints don't get it off (which would have happened) and the Saints get 0 points out of it.

ball was originally snapped with 2 seconds left.

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
