Hey Clark Judge you're a moron....

Well when you have the amount of 1st and 2nd round picks healthy and playing on the defensive side of the ball that they do, your offense doesn't have to do much.

He's doing what is expected.

That being said, I would also like to point out that before Cam became a legitimate first round/first pick possibility, I said that I thought Dalton could be the steal of the draft.

Cam is still better, Dalton just has the better team.

When did I say he wasn't playing well, but to compare both situations like they are the same is idiotic.

They are both rookie QB's taking over the most important position on bad teams. It's not really idiotic at all.

I sound like a broken record here, but his defense deserves ALOT of credit. No one is talking about the Bengals D, and they are doing a great job. Dalton has done a good job, but he also has more help on the other side of the ball. Give Cam that D and I think we'd have more wins.

thread. the difference between them is one defense is allowing 28+ points while the other is not. plain and simple.

I don't get why he is a moron for pointing out that Dalton is playing well. You'd be a moron for not thinking he's playing well.

Or is this just more whining because somebody acknowledged a player not named Cam Newton for being good?

I have no problem with acknowledging that Dalton is playing well, especially for a rookie.

Someone else looking good does nothing to diminish our own players' successes.

Agree. Dalton has played well. Not as well as Newton, but the author was not making a case he was. He is just giving props to another young player that is off to a good start.

It should also be pointed out that Marvin Lewis deserves a lot of credit for keeping that team competitive. Given all the stuff going on with Palmer, they had every reason to collapse. Color me surprised at their good start, even if it was against the middle of the league.

Mike Zimmer is still a great DC.

Dalton may be playing well but lets not get over zealous here. He has a #1 defense keeping other teams off the field, and oh look they have played who exactly? Cam is good and Im not gonna hype him anymore. Andy is doin his job up there and Cam is doing his job down here. The fact of the matter is that Andy Dalton does not belong in a Panthers message board.

Again, Im giving Dalton his props, he is playing well. I jus don't agree with comparing the two by records when Cam is being asked to do more and playing with a better defense. Cam has a better offense, but the gap between our O and theirs is much slimmer than Our D to their D.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
