Returning to what the original post is, supposedly Hogan is back so I assume that is what we can use him for. Captain is playing to well as a Corner to keep on the field longer than he needs to be we dont wana wear him down to much.

Hasn't translated much on the field. I feel more comfortable with Captain returning kicks. But that's just me though.

Make Captain a Special Teams Captain let him return anything kicked and play him as a gunner on punt coverage. Play him in his former nickel package, and go with Butler on the boundary full time. I'm not saying this as a demote Captain, but we need a playmaker on special teams. Captain has been good in that regard here so far in his career.

A couple days ago there was a guy spamming the Panthers FB page, saying to let Steve Smith return punts.

I remember last year he returned some punts in the niners game, that was pretty cool man. He's such a play maker.

if we didn't need him so much on every defensive down, i'd like the idea. he is needed more where we use him. taking him away or adding more repsonsibility to him wouldn't help the team. he'd either wear down quickly or we would be much weaker ni the secondary. we don't want that.

we also don't make people captains during the season.

Armanti did not run at the combine .. he had a hamstring injury.

where do you get 4.44 from .. you sound like the guy that makes the madden numbers that just gets info from other people .. rem when tj whos your mama called him out about that .. was funny.

Armanti just doesn't look like he knows what he's doing when he's on the field. He's done well on fielding the punts, and he's not made any big mistakes or anything, but I don't think he has a positive effect on the return game. He's just neutral. Captain wasn't exactly lighting it up when he was returning punts, but he might be better than Armanti. If it puts Capt back in the nickle where he belongs, I'm up for the idea. He shouldn't be a starting CB.
