So imagine if we had won a few meaningless games down the stretch last season, ended up picking 5th or 6th and had our choice between Blaine Gabbert, Christian Ponder and Jake Locker instead of Cam. Stupid huh?

If we ended up with 5th or 6th... I still think we would have ended up with Cam. There's no way fox would have drafted offense (ESPECIALLY a qb) with Denver, I think Buffalo was happy with Fitzpatrick, and Arizona just traded the bank for Kolb and needed help in the secondary.

People on here talk about Luck like the hot girl that dumped them :nonod:

He made a life decision. His life doesn't revolve around the Panthers though apparently some of ours do.

In the times I've seen and heard him, Luck has never come off as anything but likable. I have absolutely no reason to wish failure on him unless he goes to a team that's a rival of ours (which I'd say looks highly unlikely to happen).

Wrong about Buffalo. Fitzpatrick was on Monday Night Countdown and said the Bills informed him that if a "franchise QB" fell to them they would take him. Fitzpatrick said he is glad one didnt fall. He had to of been talking about Newton.

What Luck said is right on in my opinion.

You've got some people here who have invested every cell of their body into Cam Newton and for some reason feel the need to tear down every other quarterback. I suppose this makes them feel good about something. I have no idea really, it's absurd.

You can be certain that if Newton had said these words in reaction to the same situation that they would proclaim him to be Jesus for doing so.
