Falcons defense played lights out. From the tipped ball at the end of the half that went for an INT to the defensive lineman's interception at the end of the 4th that effectively iced the game, the plays made by their guys against an otherwise well-performing offense were outstanding. both of those plays were individual effort that changed the game.

chalk this one up to experience. we're not a playoff team this year, never were. next time bitches. :cheers2:

Both teams were sustaining long drives, there were hardly any punts. Then, Atlanta's defense made adjustments and dialed up the pressure and it worked. Our defense, meanwhile, continued to take what it was being dealt by the Falcons.

Not sure if it's on McDermott or the guys we have on the field, or both, but it's got to change.

Atlanta's defense sucks ass. That DT will come closer to smelling another man's balls than he will to smelling another interception in his career. Byron Bell was terrible, the playcalling was terrible after we went up 17-14 and Atlanta got a luck INT on a tip at the end of the first half. That would have been a Smith TD as he was wide open in the back of the end zone.

my point exactly, they made plays when they needed to the most. we didn't. end of story.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
