It amazes me the leak this show has. I basically heard about Dale getting killed 4 months ago, but refused to believe it, based on his role in the comics and the actor relationship with Darabont. Heard about a few other things too from the same leak that I'm afraid are going

Dammit...I should not have read that spoiler link.:( now I won't get that satisfaction next week. :o

I mean you had to see that coming though, right?

Like I said earlier, the leak this show has is absurd. AMC must have ZERO control over their employees and over seas distribution.

Spoilers have actually increased my anticipation for this show for some odd reason. Maybe because I don't like surprises.

I read like two weeks before they killed off Omar in The Wire, so it made dealing with the surprise much easier. He is one of my favorite characters in the history of TV.

So, I watched all of season 1 last night on Netflix. Season 2 isn't on there yet. Gonna watch the Torn Apart webisodes later tonight. Anybody have any idea where I can find season 2 to watch it from the start? Want to try to catch up before the season finale in a couple weeks.

If you have a Kindle... http://www.amazon.com/18-Miles-Out/dp/B007E6YYLO/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1331083365&sr=1-1

That's where I get it anyway.

I sent you the one I use. Don't listen to the other dude, cause the one I found is better. Guaranteed.

This was a great episode.

Using Carl as a single person fighting with the polar opposite viewpoints of Shane and Rick was very smart. Carl had hardened and become so much like Shane that Rick even reacted the same way to him when he was acting so cold (aside from the fight).

Carl learned that brash and selfish ways, gets himself into trouble and other people hurt/killed, ala Shane. Carl was able to salvage his own humanity, so in that aspect, Dale really won, and Shane's cause is dead with Dale.

No one is on Shane's side anymore. He lost his last supporter in Andrea, and last impressionable person in Carl. There is no one left to believe his ways. I wouldn't be surprised if he died in the very next episode.

The character development of the main characters is really starting to take shape, and I think the upcoming seasons will be better for it. Love this show.

no this will make carl even more detached i'm pretty sure

also, about that walker popping up behind dale, i figured it was laying down in the grass and he never even saw it. we used to play hide and seek in a field like that at night and it was AWESOME until someone ran into something. you couldn't see people 3 feet from you until they jumped up and took off running towards the base

    • no doubt but flip that.   The current system insures that there are "regional" games in the early weeks. maximizing the reach of playoff football.  If all of the WC weekend for a conference took place on the west coast they are reducing the "reach" of their hype machine.
    • Hard to say with London--he never ran--combine or pro day.  Here is what AI says, and it is always 100% accurate: Drake London's 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine was not recorded because he was dealing with a fractured ankle at the time. While he didn't participate in the 40 at the Combine or his pro day, his coach said his 40 time was estimated to be between 4.4 and 4.53 seconds. Some sources also list his 40 time at 4.58 and 4.6 seconds Unless you are running 9s all day, top end 40 speed is rarely reached.  I have always looked at the 3-cone drill.  At his pro day, TMac ran a 6.86--pretty good, actually.  For context, it is faster that Rome Odunze (6.88) who ran a 4.45 40.  Odunze is 6'3" and weighs 216, fwiw, and is considered a very good route runner with no wasted motion.  Mike Evans 3-cone was 7.08.  To put it in a broader context, through 2022, with all NFL prospect 3-cone drills combined, a 6.86 puts TMac in the.89th percentile-  Now consider the fact that he is 6'4" and 220.   We might have something here.  '
