Smitty goes up against Deangelo Hall this weekend. Talk about getting pwned. I do predict a 400 yard day passing for Cam, and a loss due to a hail mary because it hasn't happened yet.

Despite the headgame that one year in Atl....Smitty numbers are fairly pedestrian when playing a Hall team. In his career he has 1 100 yard game.....

in the predict smitty's stats thread i was kind of joking about the 75 yards in penalties, but i wasn't about the 50 yards and maybe a TD.

those two usually cancel each other out. it's a huge battle that smith usual gets the better of hall, but he doesn't have big games against him.

that seems about right, he has hovered around 60-70 it seems over his career.....

a WR and a DB canceling each other out = DB shutting down the wide receiver. it doesn't really work both ways.

meh...smith isn't shut down, but he also doesn't have anywhere close to stellar games. that is canceling each other out, imo.

smith's stats are mediocre when he's facing hall, but he isn't shut down. it's balanced.

balance is probably a better word for what i'm trying to get across.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
