The best player we haven't talked about in a while.

#20 has been amazing this year, and got a well deserved pick sunday.

He is having-without a doubt-the best year of his career. He has been a true shutdown corner-something he has never been even in his best years. The guy has just absolutely locked his side of the field down. He's been a staple of this team for a long time, and has truly achieved elite status this year. Props to the great Gambino, and a shout out for tying with Eric Davis' as the all time Carolina Panthers interception leader.

Props for this. My favorite Corner in the league. Since i have been looking on this message board i have seen all the threads and comments about people bashing him and i always had urges to post back and defend him but i held back because i always knew his play would speak for him on the field. You never here his name because he is always doing his job right and is just not a flashy player. Sometimes i think people just wish he was more like Revis and be a playmaker along with locking down his man so that justifies sayin he sucks but that doesn't matter to me at all as long as he locks down his man and gives up no TDs. Props to Gamble. Definitely a pro bowler in my book.

I'd like to see some advanced statistics regarding the corners this season, but I have to say he does look reenergized.

He has also helped a bit in run support.

It's a shame Beason went down, I really think we would be talking about a much better Defense. :(

Also Ron Fields, Thomas Davis, Omar Gaither and so on.

I think there were some high hopes for the D going into the season but injuries happen. Hogan coming back is going to be awesome. He is an exciting physical football player than can go get the ball. He can be like the Steve Smith of the defense.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
