You guys want to know why Cam is not in a costume? The same reason Rivera isn't: he's the professional face of the franchise. I guarantee you he was told NOT to dress up, because when you represent the team (and Cam absolutely does now) there is no way they want you out there looking like a pirate.

Possible, but if Cam had showed up with a Superman costume & Rivera was Jango Fett... Total nerdgasam.

It seems like the whole Panthers organization is probably one of the best in the NFL with giving back to he community and being "fan friendly". Good that they also make the rookies get out and show face at events to make sure they understand some respect and how good they got it.

TRD's Cam analysis timeline: "He's not worth drafting, doesn't work hard, not an NFL QB...OK, so he works hard, but he's not smart enough to learn an NFL offense...OK, he learned the offense, but he's not accurate, Clausen's the starter...OK, he's starting, but that's only because it wasn't a fair QB competition, he won't succeed...OK, he played well against Arizona, but he won't keep it up...<disappear for 6 weeks>...He didn't wear a Halloween costume!!!!!!"

LOL, perfect.

Wow, those guys were uncomfortable, but who wouldn't be? What do you do in that situation? it's hard to be cheerful when you see sick kids - and yet these guys are trying to be a bright spot in their day.

Tough.

It's a great way to reach out to the community and it's been done for years....great to see this and it has to brighten the day for those kids. Difficult to watch thinking about the kid's tough situations, but nice to see the guys putting them first. Great job.

You forgot the part about Matt Moore giving us a better chance to win... how's that working out in Miami right now?

Using this for any sort of negative spin is sick and undeserving of any respect whatsoever....as if I had to say it...it's utterly disrespectful to make this a platform for commenting about something other than the plight of these youngsters...
