Why haven't we activated Brandon Hogan?

two weeks of practice for a rookie doesn't = ready to play NFL football. He probably at best is in midpreseason type form.

Maybe he still needs time to get back into football shape and whatnot. I'd rather shut him down for the rest of the year than rush it and have it turn into a Thomas Davis situation.

I think he avoids IR, but I don't think we'll see him until the last quarter of the season, maybe sooner in the return game as Rivera did mention that in a presser.

Yeah, we could just activate him from PUP and not activate him on Gameday. It's not like we're going to lose him for the year because he's not ready in a week.

He'll be activated probably but just used on special teams unless he absolutely has to play corner

I am happy they are using caution for once, and hope they avoid back to back season ending injuries for Hogan (basically a career ender)

His injury wasn't that bad. He could have been ready at the start of the season, but they decided no need to rush him into action because he is a rookie so they put him on PUP. He has been working out and is 100% over the injury and has been for a while. He just hasn't had time on the practice field. They are trying to catch him up before he plays in any games.
