Why haven't we activated Brandon Hogan?

he might see the field as a return option before a CB option

idk b/c Rivera recently said that Mike Goodson is getting out of his "funk" and has been looking good in practice. He might start returning KO's again. Who knows as far as punts go tho.

Why do I keep thinking that's sad. When was the last time we actually had a real threat....or how about just a lightning fast dude at PR. He Hate Me and Steve Smith when he first entered the league?

This team's idea of elusive is really different than mine. Did they ever take a look at Desean Jackson's make-up?

Dude's a toothpick. It works!

Hester?

Dante Hall?

That's elusive. Look at how low to the ground they stay:

I'm tired of our team trying to experiment at this position for years, taking guys not made for this and trying to make them do it. It's a specialist position and it does require its own type of player for real success. You will never make AE that small, skinny, and elusive no matter how many years of project time you give him. Better off still letting Smith do it from time to time like Fox used to if Smith is still up for it.

Goodson doesn't run like this either. He runs like a RB. He tries to break through tacklers instead of avoiding them in the first place untouched. Problem with that is, even if you are successful in breaking one or two it still slows you down enough for others to catch you.

I'm not sure what would be more valuable to this team...a high pick punt returner or an elite #2 receiver but I would not be upset if we used it on a PR. Field position and ST TD's do wonders for a team's winning chances.

Rod Smart was never a punt returner.

butler at 5'9 is more convincing?

tbqh an inch can be the difference between a tipped ball and a completion.

captain plays well for us, but I don't think he (and I'm not sure about butler right now either) is our long-term solution as a "#2" or eventual #1 at corner.

    • "by name"?  You mean they are letting him say he is retiring or stepping down? That's even more embarrassing than being fired (he basically quit) and so transparently false that the media will kill him and this university.  If this happens, I may just turn full fledge to an SMU fan since I live in Dallas now. I'm just about sick of this university's approach to basketball and football.
