Are college sports better than pro sports?

I tend to agree. An interesting opinion thats taking place on twitter right now is excitement vs. the product. There is absolutely NOTHING in sports like the atmosphere you get in the college games. (with the exceptions of some NBA & NFL sellout games).

But is the product on the court really better? I think its a fair debate. There are always exceptions, but if you really think about it, its not as cut and dry as some people make it out to be.

Better how?

Talent? Hell no.

Do I enjoy it more? Hell yes.

College Basketball has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I love the NBA, but the passion and excitement that surrounds College Ball is unlike anything else. There is absolutely nothing better in sports than UNC/Duke at Cameron Indoor. I don't even have to be there to feel the excitement and get chills.

Football? no

Basketball? yes

I am the exact opposite.

I like CFB better than NFL

and

the NBA better than the NCAA

I love the college atmosphere better than pro sports. Go to an SEC stadium and you'll find out quickly. It's so electrifying. I also am a fan of the BCS system where the regular season means so much.

As far as NBA over NCAA, NBA's superstars just outweigh the CBB experience. I will say basketball seasons, pro and college, don't get interesting till the end.

Just my preference.

CBB is leaps and bounds better than the NBA. I can't even watch the NBA anymore outside of the playoffs.

While I do love college FB, the BCS system is the dumbest poo ever so it dampens my interest. I actually enjoy following the FBS and App State more than BCS because they have a tourney system. Of course App State is jumping up so that'll kill that. NFL is better imo.

College basketball is way better because they play team basketball and have a cool ass playoff system. NBA is more of a "show off" kind of basketball...

NFL and College Football are about equal if you have a team to root for... I didn't go to a college with a football program, so it's not as interesting to me. NFL wins this however because they have a playoff system and college football has a computer.

College baseball and MLB tie.

Do not watch soccer so I can't say...

What else is there to compare?

College Sports does have this though...

    • The offseason is always when hope springs eternal. If you look past that, you can see a very bad roster with a lot more questions than definitive answers. Let's hope we get a lot of those right, because I think we are a lot closer to another impatient Tepper reset than we probably think.
    • These arguments are getting more and more disingenuous from both the pro and anti Bryce crowd. Bryce looked very good for stretches down the final 8 games. He finally showed glimpses of the guy that was projected as a top QB pick in the draft. Bryce also didn't look like a top 10 NFL QB.  I think we are so far removed from Prime Cam that we forget what an elite QB looks like. I could tell that when people were losing their minds and simping for Sam Darnold. This season needs to finally showcase Bryce as a franchise talent. If that doesn't happen, it's time to pivot. There are very few recent examples of QB's struggling or being a mixed bag through the first three seasons of starting and then suddenly becoming frachise caliber players.
    • See that's the thing what I saw in game 2 was so embarrassing id rather they could just forfeit
