Terrell McClain to be featured on Pepsi MAX cans

I'm not saying McClain isn't doing a good job, but if I was picking a limited # of rookies to feature on the side of a Pepsi can, he isn't the first name that would come to mind, even on his own team...

This pretty much explains it.

The casual NFL fan outside of Carolina will have no clue who he is. That's not a slight on him or anything, it's just true. I still get "who?" when I mention Ryan Kalil or James Anderson to non-panther fans.

Nice to see our fan base is still largely clueless when it comes to our interior line.

McClain has been one of the most solid rook DTs in the league.

I think it is questioned b/c he is going out of the other rookies mentioned there are guys who have gotten a lot of attention nationally b/c of there play......he hasn't.....and Cam Newton is also on his team.

I think the NFL has the right to let a company use the likeness of a player without the player's approval, but I'm not sure.

If this was a situation where the players had to give approval and get compensated, they may not have wanted to pay what Cam's people were asking.

They can put whoever they damn well please on their cans. But they better start selling the "official soft drink of the NFL" at the stadium. There was no Pepsi Max to be had last game on the 1st level, none!

I prefer Pepsi over coke but I've never had Pepsi Max. Is it sugar free or diet or what makes it MAX?

I'm a Pepsi person too. It's got zero calories & a little bit of more kick than regular Pepsi without going to the extreme of MD. It isn't as sweet as Diet Pepsi. I shouldn't drink alcohol because of medications so I've taken to Pepsi Max.
