Vs. Miami: 9 punts

Lions: 7 punts

Raiders: 5 punts

Chiefs: 7 punts

Jets: 8 punts

The Broncos offense is so efficient they miss opportunities on 7 drives a game

I try but I keep seeing so much stupid poo I feel obligated to reply.

Because you have no idea what makes an efficient offense. It's neither the amount of points you score, nor yards you get. An offense that has 7 punts will beat the poo out of a team with 4 interceptions every single game.

You laughed at John Fox when you thought a good punt was a good play. It is if it wins the field position battle. It's a lot better than 4 interceptions or three and outs followed by a penalty to give our opponents the ball in our own red-zone.

They punted 5 times and still put up 38 fuging points on the Raiders! Why? Because the Raiders were not an efficient offense and threw 3 interceptions.

The other offense will end up being more efficient. Again, you have no idea what it means to be an efficient football team. It means all of what I just said, and more. And that leads to 5-5. Versus one that scores a lot of points and gets a lot of yards being 2-7.

-An offense that doesn't drive down the length of the field until the 4th quarter after they stumbled all game long is not a good offensive performance.

So explain how the Broncos were efficient yesterday when The Golden Calf of Bristol didn't drive the length of the field until the end of the game then.

Definition of efficient: performing or functioning in the best possible manner with the least waste of time and effort

7 punts is not performing in the best manner with the least wasted time and effort. Seems you are the one who has no idea what makes an efficient offense.

uh exactly how were the Broncos efficent on offense?? listen, i am a HUGE The Golden Calf of Bristol fan, but even (SOME) of his fans will say that he's not pretty and/or efficent. what he IS, is clutch. if he ever improves as a passer, then he WILL be better than Newton, but to say he is now is just insane. sure he doenst throw many picks, BUT that's because most of his throws are uncatchable for either the WR or the defender, people are on Newton not because of the interceptions (which half of them were not really all on him), but the REAL critics are on him because he's not accurate and throws too high on some plays, and if you say Newton is inaccurate than what's The Golden Calf of Bristol?? sorry, but if The Golden Calf of Bristol were here, we would lose by more points, but i think The Golden Calf of Bristol would throw a tad bit better.

can't compare The Golden Calf of Bristol and cam's stats like that, very different offenses.

still, I don't think there are many people who would argue The Golden Calf of Bristol is a better passer than cam.

there is no comparison, as much as i love The Golden Calf of Bristol, he's VERY raw and isnt there yet as a passer, though i think he's got more vision as a runner than Cam Newton does. Newton is a great passer, he just needs to learn to make better decisions which isnt a shock considering he's a rookie. the big shock is how he has played, i expected numbers of 180 yards per game and 30 yards rushing per game, not 250 and 40. i expected the interceptions, but not the yards or the poise, i didnt expect those.

When The Golden Calf of Bristol doesn't score, he's still being efficient. Also, it's the defense's fault

Yes he is because his run game puts so much pressure on opposing defenses and eats clock which allows his defense to rest.

Running wins games.. and The Golden Calf of Bristol makes his teams dominant running teams. Imagine if he had a great runningback playing with him. They would be unstoppable.

that's not efficent, if he goes 3 and out (like he did alot in the Jets game) isn't efficent. the first drive he was efficent, the last drive he was efficent, other than that there werent many efficent drives from The Golden Calf of Bristol. he can run, i know that, but he still is very raw as a passer and he's not a better passing Quarterback than Newton is.
