Wow, I actually hope they pick him up. If he plays even mediocre he has a pretty good shot at the playoffs. I would be excited to watch Delhomme in the playoffs again.

I'd be a Texan fan for a Jake playoff run. Gotta think Yates might not give them the best chance to win.....not many rookies drafted that late start a playoff game. Jake could at least call protections and audible properly if he could learn the playbill quick

I would definitely be rooting for the Texans to come out of the AFC if they sign Jake.

The Texans have more than a "solid" defense, they have the best in the league.

It is more than just attractive for him, it's a freaking dream come true.

Basically a free pass to the playoffs, it's just about what they can do with it once they are there.

No no no, you have it backwards my friend, it was their offense that allowed Green Bay to score 40 and Baltimore 30, not their defense.

Nov 28 WR Andre Johnson returned after missing six games and caught two passes for 22 yards. He had a catch wiped out when he was called for offensive interference. He has to develop on-field rapport with rookie QB T.J. Yates. Until Yates throws the ball down the field effectively, the Texans will see eight and nine players in the box to stop the run.

Nov 27 Johnson (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Recommendation: Ending an eight-week absence, Johnson will play for the first time since Week 4 against the Steelers. There may be some rust, but you can expect plenty of targets, per usual. Johnson was a full participant in practice all week.
