Brian Murphy still has to go. One special teams TD and another great return 2 games in a row does no erase 9 games of zero return game to speak of. Not to mention how awful our kicking units are with the exception of a decent punt coverage unit. But then again that same unit has allowed several punt returns for TDs this season. GTFO Murphy.

But it seems we need help at LB more than any other position. I think Quan Sturdivant (UNC) is still sitting on Arizona's practice squad. THere is probably a reason, but still, he can play inside and outside, has decent speed, and nice size. I do not get why the Panthers (or anyone else) has not pulled him up. He is certain to help more than an OL (we have Ziemba and Bernardeau on the bench)/

Browning seemed like a decent pick up. I'm glad to see these guys getting their shot though. It speaks volumes to everyone on the team that you can and will be replaced by those who actively want to be here. I thought he had been released from the PS previously but thought wrong I suppose.

by that logic rivera and mcdermott should go too since the defense is equally abysmal... right?

Well special teams isn't exactly an entire team or even offense or defense. But you have to wonder how many capable players ST has to work with because our defensive team is abysmal.

I like that idea, I think Sturdivant wouldnt be a bad guy to bring in for this season and see if he has any skills

No way is he going anywhere until the results are in for next season. I'm more than willing to give him at least that considering what he's had to work with this year.
