Why doesn't anyone think the Saints is a win?

Last game of the season, all their starters will be resting.

Does no one remember the last game of the shitty 2009 season when we beat them with Matt Moore? Same situation except at home?

Of all people, look who had a TD

Passing Cmp Att Yds TDs

M. Moore 14 23 162 1

Rushing Car Yds Avg TDs

J. Stewart 16 125 7.8 1

M. Goodson 13 44 3.4 0

Receiving Rec Yds Avg TDs

M. Muhammad 7 85 12.1 0

D. Jarrett 5 68 13.6 1

I hope we win every game from here on out, but really hope we can at least beat the Bucs again, at our house, on Christmas Eve. I'll be there for that one and I think it will be a blast. Texans and Saints...dunno. I think we lose to Texans, might have a shot at the Saints if they are resting everyone.

Houston's a very efficient and solid all around team. Much like the Titans. They can win with a third string rookie QB. They're one of the most solid all around teams this year, and very well coached. Efficient offense, solid defense. They can plug any guy under center, and not miss a beat.

We've only beaten teams with less efficient offenses than ours. They are ranked 10th. This is in all likely hood a loss, and even if they continue to get unlucky by Friday and Yates goes down too and Delhomme takes over, I don't see that being an advantage for us with him being on the other side. He'll have something to prove.

Just about everything's stacked against us on this one and they're one of the better all around teams we have faced this year right there with GB, Titans, Saints and Atlanta. Probably better than most of those.

New Orleans could still be in a shootout for a bye with San Fran

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
