I love Smitty and all, but we're not going to the playoffs, and I'm playing against him in my fantasy football championship, so...

I'd settle for him being the best decoy of all time and getting like 50 yards, lol.

Wow.

This is exactly why I quit playing fantasy sports years ago.

meh...pretty sure you don't know what you're talking about.

FF has nothing to do with the game changing and if anything it's becoming more complex than ever and is using a lot more strategy as well....but that doesn't have anything to do with fantasy football either. it's just the natural evolution of the sport that has been going on since the beginning.

it's fine to not like the idea of fantasy football, but to say it's responsible for the game changing is just conspiracy theory drivel.

I agree that it hasn't changed the game itself.

I do think that it HAS changed significantly the way the game is covered by the sports media (and not for the good).

(Edit: Seems I repeated what Davidson Deac already pointed out.)

Fantasy Football changed public perception of the product, when the public has a certain view of something 9 times out of 10 the company/product is adapted to make those fans happy.

Perhaps I'm one of the few who only see it and believe it...but it's there. I won't kid myself in believe fantasy football hasn't impacted the NFL.

no.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
