Chud going to Jacksonville for a 2nd Interview *rumor/unfounded*

I find it hard to believe that someone else can't make an offense look good with Cam Newton, DWill, JStew, Greg Olsen, Shockey, Smitty, Lafell, Gettis, and one more player on the line to make it solid (maybe Otah?).

We had Clausen last year, and plays designed to run, not pass. We also didn't use TE's properly.

Nothing against Chud, I love his knowledge of the game, but I think I could draw up plays for the studs on this offense.

Cam hasn't been in the same offensive scheme for more than 1 year. This is bad imo, Cam has learned 4 playbooks in the past 4 years.

And he has learned everyone with ease, and turned the respective team around in each case, correct?

You are probably right, but the league always seems to run this way. They took Del Rio because of his success with the Panther D and he never cut it as a head coach. How many times will Wade Phillips go from DC to HC and back and forth. Coach d'jour

maybe not the scheme but some of the creativity in new plays may be lost

That assumes that whoever takes the job won't do as well. Here is a shocker. What if we bring in someone better than Chud??? I don't know who that would be but honestly I didn't know who Chud was before we brought him in either.

It says they wouldn't comment about the possibility of Chud interviewing for a second time.

Soooo... whatever that means.

yep.

yay for people jumping the gun in starting threads without getting proper context and making the thread title start an unwarranted frenzy.

Stability in a system is important for a QB..especially early in his career. See:Sam Bradford. HOWEVER, Chud was an inconsistent play caller, and I definately felt that he wasn't really used to having a guy like Cam and how best to utilize his skill appropriately. There were no 'chain moving' passes it seemed, only big play or options, deep ins or designed QB runs.

Let him leave, the talent on the offense is such that we won't suffer that much of a setback.
