I wouldn't cut Munnerlyn, it's not his fault he's undersized for his position, and he battles hard. He needs to be playing nickel, dime and special teams though.

fans are fickle but there have always been decent arguments surrounding all of those decisions. turns out lucas DID suck, so did marshall, and they were replaced. chances are captain will be replaced too (although i don't necessarily expect him to get cut, just dropped on the depth chart. he is veteran experience and a useful ST player.)

this franchise hasn't had a top notch cornerback tandem in years and with potential issues at safety i think it's the top priority in the draft/free agency.

Cutting Cap'n makes no sense, he has to much value as a special teamer and a nickel/dime back. Not everyone on your team is going to be a all-pro. Football 101

Lucas certainly did not suck. His play dropped off towards the end but that's what happens to aging CBs. Marshall didn't suck either, he was great as a nickel and excellent on ST, just like Captain. I don't think he should be the #2 but my point is that fans shouldn't be so quick to bash CBs. Hell look at the comments about Gamble before this season. It's a high exposure position where it's easy to notice if a player is struggling but hard to see if they're doing well.

i'd keep him on special teams. let hogan and butler or possible draft pick battle for the #2 and nickle spots.
